Hi, I’m Stephen!

I’m a Cambridge local and mortgage broker at Mortgage Express. I am passionate about helping people achieve their goals – whether it be their first home, next home, or investment property. My wife and I shifted to the Waikato in 2012 after my selection in the New Zealand rowing team, for those 10 years, I worked within the team and competed internationally – including the 2016 and 2020/21 Olympic Games.

As rowing was proving to be a promising career, we decided to establish Cambridge as our base and get on the property ladder by purchasing our first property.  After some hard work, we were able to build our family home in 2015.

After a fulfilling career in rowing, achieving many of my sporting dreams, I decided to hang up the oar and focus on my other passion - helping kiwis achieve their home ownership dreams. I'm here to help you secure mortgage finance while simplifying the process.
